Literature Review Draft
The draft should be 2-4 pages with at least 5 scholarly sources. The final draft will be 4-6 pages with at least 7 scholarly sources.
The structure of a literature review resembles the following
Introduction – Why are the variables of interest? What context (interpersonal, persuasion, etc) make the relationship among these variables interesting?
Variable 1 (and subsequent variables)
Define the variable
How has the variable been studied previously?
What do we know about context based on the variable?
What do we still need to know?
Connections between variable – How are the variables related? How does one variable affect the other one(s)?
The content here moves beyond the definitions presented in previous sections.
Hypotheses and research questions are presented here. There should be a paragraph preceding each hypothesis or research question to justify it.
